Global Code of Ethics

Staples’ commitment to high ethical standards is highlighted in our Global Code of Ethics. This document explains core expectations of Staples associates regarding ethical conduct and business practices.

We foster an open environment that encourages all associates to understand and seek support on ethical issues pertaining to the business. In order to support this we have also included guidelines that outline how to deal appropriately with a broad range of issues.

Ethical sourcing

Staples seeks to work with suppliers that source their products in a manner that protects workers’ human rights, workers’ health and safety, and the environment. Suppliers are required to comply with our Ethical Sourcing Policy, and suppliers providing us with Staples brand products are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct as well. We regularly audit supplier factories to ensure compliance using independent third-party auditors.
